Welcome. This discovery catalogue lists all the articles in The Library - The Transactions of The Bibliographical Society. The Society was founded in 1892 and this site indexes issues of The Library going back to 1889. Here you can find useful information about each article in an interesting and inter-linked way to facilitate faceted browsing.
Features include:
- Browse by Date, starting with decades, you can drill down to the year and issue of your choice; or click on the date on an article page to go to that date
- Author pages, listing all their articles in The Library with a timeline of their published articles by date
- Article pages, showing links to the PDF at LUP, a word cloud characterising the text, catalogue information on the article, and similar articles
- Subject categories, allowing you to find articles using topics, people, or places
- Search by DOI, title, or any other keyword
- Click on any linked title, author name, or date to browse by that facet
The Liverpool University Press co-publishes The Library with The Bibliographical Society and the full texts of all issues are available on their website. Free access to The Library at LUP repository is one of the benefits of individual membership in the Society; you can join The Bibliographical Society online.
